Fabric testing methods and automatic drawing in methods in weaving-textilesphere

Introduction
  • In manual drawing in process sorting of warp is done by 1 person and other draws the same through the other side so there are in total 2 person required for the process. With the help of reaching machine sorting step can be made automated.
  • Today, the drawing-in processes are fully automated. Drawing-in is done using robot-like machines. Heddle of special type is needed for the drawing process. Individual feeding of warp end from the warp sheet is done to each of the drawing in element.Heddles are separated from the stack and brought to the drawing-in position; a plastic knife opens a gap in the reed and a hook draws-in the warp end through the heddle and reed in one step.
  • Automatic drawing-in increases speed, flexibility and quality in weaving preparation compared to manual drawing-in. High drawing rate of about 50,000 warp ends per 8 hours(200 ends per minute) is possible.
  • Drawing in consists of threading the warp yarns through the drop wires, the healds and the reed. Depending on the styles of the produced fabrics andon the company’s size, this operation can be carried out manually, by drawing-in male or female works.

Working of Auto Drawing
The held wire are blocked in the grooves by mechanism the drop wires follows the same eye of both are equally on from of one another than the gripper needle passes through the eye of held wire & drop pin towards the yarn hook area.
The yarn presenter present the yarn to the mechanism than it the yarn Cather and hook hold the yarn into the position. The gripper needle takes the yarn and comes back to its own position. In this way according to design the ends are passed through heals wire drop pin and finally yarn remover removes the yarn and needle gets ready for next.

Advantages of automatic drawing-in:
  • Maximum working speed of machine is 80 ends/min
  • It can control maximum of 20 heald shafts without any error which is difficult in manual drawing process.
  • We can draw according to the design and keep heald shafts as reserved without preparing the beams.
  • We can also use beam for emergency by doing the knotting process.
  • Manual errors are avoided.
  • It saves operator cost.
  • Speed of the machine is high as 80 ends/min
  • Automatic computer control drawing in of single beam warps.
  • Machine is easy to operate.
  • Automatic heald wire separation from magazine and its distribution.
  • Automatic drop wire separation and distribution.
  • Automatic reed, heald wire, drop pin transport
