This is my 3rd article of 3 article series on De Dollarization - New opportunities and challenges. This pre dominantly talks about costing aspect of various product categories which are already defined in 2nd article.
Here
I speak about the price sensitivity of each category and how to address the
issue. The details of "Theatre Command Approach" I have
written in detail, this needs further customization. This approach is different
from Cross Functional teams usually formed in the company. This “Theatre
Approach Command” will have measurable goal in terms value to achieve. The
effect of outcome should show in P & L of company. Composition of this team
will depend upon internal skills, experience available in house.
Lastly,
I spoke about the approach on "How to make a company a reliable
business Partner" rather than mere supplier. The importance of this
concept, its long-term implications and its meaning for customer.
I am
writing this in the light of impending De-Dollarization and new opportunities
it is opening up.
Textile
industry still has high manual interface and it really take long to change,
inculcate a new culture and orient to customer centric approach.
We
still have time to do fine tuning or change, I believe that our textile
Industry will definitely adapt to the challenging global atmosphere and
turbulent period. Next 2 to 3 years most of nations will look inwards, internal
competition will be intense. So, to handle this situation a company has to be
agile.
Survival
of the fittest is natures law, but keep ourself fit to survive is in our hands.
I
have nothing more to say.
In
future I will keep on updating on the events happening around world in respect
of De Dollarization and Geopolitics and its effects on business and how global
textile industry is responding.
