ASTM Standards & Covid-19
As all us know are aware that the COVID-19 situation is now rapidly expanding with fastest growing death rates around the World. In such times of need, kudos to the manufacturing units which are running tirelessly, day and night to produce personal protective equipment like face masks, gloves, medical gowns to do away with the shortage of these equipments.
We are all informed about ASTM international which is
formerly called as American Society for Testing and materials. It is an
internationally known Standard organization that publishes and develops
voluntary agreements of technical standards for a wide range of product,
materials, services and systems.
In this global crisis of COVID-19 health emergency, ASTM
Standard is extending their support by providing no cost public access to
significant ASTM used in the manufacturing and testing of these personal
protection equipment which includes face masks, medical gowns, gloves etc which
is used by healthcare workers all over the globe.
